Las Vegas, NVThink like a founder,
create like an artist.
For over 10 years I've been a songwriter. I was signed to a publishing deal where I ended up landing placements with artists like Fifth Harmony, Keyshia Cole, and LeToya Luckett. I was a typical creative. I fell into the stereotype that the art comes first and the business comes later, if it comes at all. After my deal ended, I pivoted to freelance songwriting, which was my first taste of needing to operate more like a business.
In addition to writing songs, I was managing clients, contracts, invoices, metadata, and deadlines. I learned the importance of creating workflows, systems, and searchable databases. I carried all of these new skills and interests into the music licensing company I built, Love Pulse Music. That now has a roster of 20+ artists with music airing on major TV shows like Power Universe on Starz (Force, Ghost, Raising Kanan, etc.), The Chi, and many others.
Somewhere in the middle of running Love Pulse and freelance songwriting, I started making content, sharing what I was learning about the music business and music production on YouTube and Instagram. As my audience continues to grow, I stay curious, learning about the best practices of posting, the changes in the algorithm, and personal branding.
What began as organizing spreadsheets evolved into databases, workflows, automations, AI assistants, and operating systems that now support how our business runs every day. There is something satisfying about taking messy, repetitive processes and turning them into something simple, reliable, and easy for people to use.
My mission is to help indie artists think like a founder, create like an artist.

Lyricist Lab
From pitch to production
Every other year, in a different city, I run Lyricist Lab, a songwriting camp for the Love Pulse roster. I book the venue, set the dates, track the budget, and pitch and land sponsors. In the past we've worked with partners like DistroKid, Output, Novation, and ROLI, who supply funding and gear, often for giveaways, for the artists. I coordinate the schedule, manage roster attendance, and run the live sponsor tagging that puts their brand in front of the room and online.
